This series of photographs is a homage to Hong Kong’s iconic star ferry and it’s hard-working staff.
Since more than 120 years the ferry is operating between the skyline of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. Rain or shine, sailors, engineering staff and coxswains performing their daily duties for the safety and comfort for all passengers. The star ferry is a beloved means of transportation for tourists and locals alike. The ride allows to enjoy the view of Victoria Harbour and passengers can take a brief pause from the busy street life on both sides of the harbour.
